These are obviously dire times for the United States. The attributes that in the view of most have made the US a powerful country respected for its leadership are being dismantled and replaced by new institutions that potentially threaten its long-standing democracy as well as its international pre-eminence. At the current time, very few people seem to be at ease in this country and the situation has effects on their psychological wellbeing. The changes that are reducing US dominance on the world stage, may superficially seem to originate only in its domestic political situation, but this is viewing it from a very limited perspective. While there can be no denying of the role of the current US administration in bringing these changes about, its actions are part of a larger process, which it is important to understand.

Ultimately, the political changes are instead products of a significant shift of a non-materialist nature in the global balance of power, changes that we can see clearly explained by the Mayan calendar system. The alterations are essentially products of a shift of power from the West to the East, manifested not only in the chaos in the US itself and its foreign policies, but also through the rise of China and its allies preparing to take over the leadership of the world. This was exemplified in the military parade in Beijing on September 5 celebrating the 80^th anniversary of the end of WWII. Notably this parade featured Vladimir Putin of Russia and Kim Jong Un of North Korea and even Narendra Modi of India, a traditional centre of Eastern thinking that had been pushed in Russia’s direction by the US tariffs directed against it. As expected, the parades displayed very little of the chaos or disorganization which has become typical of the West.

This shift from West to East is only in the beginning and will not be fully completed for some time. Yet, it is an integral and predictable part of a series of such shifts that have taken place in the Mayan Sixth Wave (also known as the “Long Count”) since it was activated in 3115 BCE (see the diagram below). This Wave – which was one of those that the ancients referred to as Plumed Serpents – feature time periods of peaks or valleys that are each 394.3 years long. Its peaks are time periods when Western empires have dominated. The last such peak period ended October 28, 2011, which has resulted in a profound transformation of the world. This wave has driven the evolution of empires from small local ones such as that of Egypt to global ones like the British. In its downturn, the dominance of the British Empire and other West European colonial powers during the previous peak (1617-2011 CE) gradually came to an end. Since this date and the shift into a valley, the dominance of Western power, especially of the United States has begun to decline. Since this date the world has moved into a valley of the Sixth Wave, which also is known as a “Dark Age.” 

The Mayan calendar perspective is that it is the Wave movements that determine what time periods we can talk about as light and dark from a Western perspective, and we may note that in this time period the United States has begun to lose a large number of its allies and there is little to indicate that they are soon coming back to stay.

It is quite difficult to predict in its details how such a Dark Age, which we recently entered, will manifest, but as shown in the diagram above, Western empires collapsed or at least seriously declined at the beginning of such time periods. In the specific case of the wave that trended down in 2011 we have seen the pandemic, escalation of climate change and its effects, and industrial scale warfare in Ukraine and Gaza. The failure of US leadership in the face of these phenomena is consistent with the downturn of this Wave. 

While the peaks in the wave movement of the Mayan Sixth Wave create empires of Western dominance, the valleys display a pattern of supporting empires and powers that in contrast are based in the East. For example, the Fifth valley (434-829 CE) brought not only a loss of dominance of the West Roman Empire in favor of the East Roman (Byzantine) Empire, but also the emergence of early Islamic civilization and the various powerful califates that this was constituted by. The beginning of the 6^th Valley (1223-1617 CE) is even more relevant to our current world situation, since its onset coincided with the creation of the Mongol Empire. This is the largest empire that the world has ever seen, stretching all the way from Korea to Eastern Europe and including what had been the Kievan Rus civilization in current day Ukraine. This empire came to be anchored in China where the Yuan dynasty would rule it. One thing that is remarkable in this is that the Mongol Empire of the sixth night seems totally parallel to the alliances that are now in the seventh night being built up by China with Russia and North Korea (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-aH6rGs-_Q4). It should also be noticed that as part of this reorganization an alliance was recently established between Mongolia, China and Russia (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwdY-1gzQkg). If the US gives up on Ukraine, the parallel between the Mongol Empire and the current Xi-Putin-Jong-Un alliance becomes remarkably clear even if the latter alliance has a more northern direction of expansion.

The first thing to conclude from this shift on a global scale is that the plight many Americans are feeling at the current time is not merely a product of US domestic politics, regardless of how painful these may be, but that they ultimately originate as a product of an essentially unstoppable and predetermined change in the dominating power structure of the world from West to East. The energy and distribution of power on our planet is changing its direction and as a result the US is losing its coherence and reliability and with this many of its previous allies are distancing themselves. China, meanwhile, is getting stronger and expanding its sphere of influence and collaborations. Whether we like it or not, this is a change that is created by a predetermined Wave movement and something that at least in the big scale of things is actually “meant to happen.” 

For years I have been saying that this shift was coming, simply because, as I think should be obvious from this, it is predictable from the shifting cosmic energies described by the Mayan calendar. If such a shift were not happening, it would be more problematic for the veracity of the Mayan calendar system and in this case its Sixth Wave. The power of such a geographical shift is so strong that the ability of humans to alter it is very limited. Some may want to compare it to a pole shift of an electromagnetic nature, but this is not really accurate. The shift is more like a Yang/Yin polarity shift in consciousness influencing the relationships between global hemispheres and in the diagram below we can see how this field looks on the global level in the peaks (above) and valleys (below). Yang, the field that is symbolized by light, is here meant as a symbol of the expansive field of creation, whereas Yin stands for the absence of such potential expansiveness. From the nature of this field, we can understand why the peaks have favoured the Western Hemisphere and fostered creativity there.

What is happening at the present time is that the global field is changing from that of a peak to that of a valley and as that happens, the “light” goes out from the Western Hemisphere. But as we could see from the sinusoidal wave movement of the Sixth Wave (Fig 1) the transition from one state to another is gradual and will take place over a period of time. The effects of this transition are however not only in terms of the geopolitical state of our planet, as I have already described in Fig 1, but also on the way of being and thinking of individual human beings, which has implications for their minds. The geometrically structured field of the peak is replaced by a unity in the dark (Fig 3) and since the brain hemispheres are in resonance with the global hemispheres, as we can see to the right in the image, the minds of human beings are changed by this transition. Certainly, the science and ways of understanding reality that previously dominated in the peak state will be questioned and often not on a rational basis.

There are several consequences of this shift from peak to alley also on the individual level. The end to the duality ruling during the peak states and their replacement of a unified dark field means that the inner dialogue between brain hemispheres is diminished. The relationship between brain hemispheres and their respective mentalities is in my view not a static one, but on the contrary a dynamic one which is subject to the shifting states of consciousness. As a result, people who go through this shift between the two states may be less inclined to approach reality rationally or discuss matters openly within themselves or with others. This by itself will favour a mentality supportive of autocracy without debate. The shift from the upper to the lower global field in Fig 3 will mean that people will undergo a shift between two different ways of perceiving reality. People who have perceived reality through the filter of the peak (see left above) will transfer to the filter of the valley (see left below) and so we may understand that humanity in the recent time period of this transition has undergone a major change in its attitudes. The very shift in perception given by the two types of filters will for instance naturally create a relativization of truth. What used to seem true in the peak state will not look the same with the filter of the valley; because of the relativization of this perception of reality lying becomes a common if not normal phenomenon to be expected from many in leadership positions. If truth is seen as relative, anything you say can be accepted.

This relativization of truth also inevitably leads to a relativization of ethics and will leave many people at a loss as to what to believe or how to navigate reality. In this situation there is also a host of possible mental disorders or psychotic reactions that may emerge on a collective scale. In the past thirty years there has for instance been a quite dramatic increase in several metal disorders, such as ADHD, Autism and school shootings. To consider that all of these phenomena began to emerge already around the millennium shift, we may note that the transition from one state to another has a sinusoidal form and does not happen instantaneously. I am not implying that there is a linear causation between for instance the shift in consciousness and autism, but certainly that the new state of consciousness and the transition to it, may provide conditions that are conducive to certain mental disoreders. 

Moreover, that a shift in consciousness would be behind these phenomena is at least in my view a much more credible explanation than vaccines, Tylenol or any other kind of chemical exposure. Given the intimate relationship between mind and body, I also think that we have reasons to expect that this shift has consequences for many aspects of somatic health at least until a new equilibrium is reached. Yet, the materialist thinking of most scientists (including alternative ones) prevents the more reasonable hypothesis based on consciousness from being adequately tested. 

Another manifestation of this shift in consciousness is a growth of unfounded conspiracy theories. Again, the shift may cause such an alteration of human perception that it becomes necessary for some to fill in the gaps. Hence, for a number of people, the solidity of rules to live by will also be lost because of the relativization of ethics, and even if to some this means fanatically staying with what they already believed, for others it may lead to acts of violence. Almost everyone will also suffer from the shift in the relationship between the two states in the images above simply because their long held convictions may no longer apply. The problems mentioned here are in addition to the consequences for the US on the global stage mentioned initially. 

Yet, what is happening now may ultimately be aimed to create a unity in the world even if the path there is not linear and requires a series of many difficult steps that are outside the scope of the present discussion. Needless to say, a unified world dominated by the East will not be to the liking of most Westerners, at least not based on how the East looks now, but it deserves to be pointed out that in a world driven by wave movements (there are nine major waves of creation in the Mayan creation system) the pendulum of history will continue to swing and what may seem to be the situation at the current time may be radically altered. History will yet have several profound changes to move through as determined by the higher, Seventh, Eighth and Ninth Waves and this will come to affect not only the West but also the East. It is essentially through these higher waves that I think there may be hope for a better world. The shift described here, however, has far-reaching consequences not only for the economic and military geopolitics of the world, but also most likely for the mental health of its population. Especially in the West, it may be painful to be part of an empire that has dominated the world and is now declining in power and quite possibly heading for an economic collapse. Such projections are however notably different from the unfounded idea that the Mayan calendar predicts the end of the world. What it does do however is to sometimes predict changes that not all inhabitants of our planet prefer.

This understanding of our current situation and what is now to come is based on a division of the globe in four directions, much in accordance with how ancient and indigenous peoples looked upon the creative forces of the world: Human beings all over this planet, download different cosmic energies during different time periods created by the “Plumed Serpents” and, as a result their creative powers the states of consciousness will alternate in accordance with a precise rhythm. The Earth itself is at the centre of this world view of changing geographical directions that describes how we are downloading cosmic guidance for ourselves as individuals as well as for our larger collective geopolitical structures. Unfortunately, modern science has completely disregarded this model of understanding, but the longer this denial continues the more at a loss people will be and the less power they will have to direct their future. Thus, to gain a positive view of what is happening, it is necessary to recognize that the pendulum of history swings all by itself. This includes the swings by the higher waves of creation, but to describe these a much larger background than has been presented here. Yet, based on the model of evolution on which this discussion was based, one with very significant evidence, it seems important for people to know what forces are driving us towards our future and how we can find beneficial means to relate to them.
